"Promise" — второй студийный альбом группы Sade, вышедший в 1985 году. Практически каждая вторая песня с альбома заняла высшие строчки биллбордов («Is It a Crime» и «Fear»), несколько композиций стали синглами («Never as Good as the First Time» и «The Sweetest Taboo»). Успех Promise превысил успех дебютного альбома "Diamond Life". Promise стал четырежды платиновым в США, дважды платиновым в Великобритании и Канаде, платиновым в Германии.
